Microsoft Business Central

Dynamics 365 Business Central is Microsoft’s newest ERP system, replacing Microsoft Dynamics NAV. A solution you can grow with and that provides endless possibilities.

Business Central is a new version of NAV with the same functionality but with a different user interface. As something new, you can choose to have the system either as a Cloud solution or as an On-premise solution. The vast majority of our customers choose the Cloud solution.

The advantage of the Cloud solution is that you only pay a fixed monthly fee per user and do not have to buy licenses or pay an ongoing update subscription, and you don’t have to think about servers, hosting, updates or anything else. At the same time, the Cloud solution has the huge advantage of Microsoft taking care of all the security around the product and data. Everything is delivered directly as a complete solution that is continuously updated with the latest releases. Just like you know it from Office 365.

You also still have the option to customize your solution, but now the customizations are turned into Apps. These Apps are isolated from the standard product, which means they are not affected by ongoing updates from Microsoft.

Furthermore, Business Central has the advantage of being part of the Dynamics 365 family. This means that all Microsoft Office products are tightly integrated with Business Central.

A future-proof solution

Business Central can grow with you and your business. If your company is upscaling, you can simply increase either the number of users or the functionality without having to go through a big, heavy upgrade.

Same functionality as NAV

Fully integrated with other Microsoft products

Business Central is part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 family and is tightly integrated with Microsoft’s other solutions such as Outlook, Power-BI, and CRM. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about importing and exporting your data.

Your data is always at your fingertips, whether you’re on your computer or on the go with your mobile. You can always check your company’s key figures and react quickly if necessary.

Business Central being available as a Cloud solution means that your company’s data is stored in secure data centres owned by Microsoft. Business Central is updated automatically, so you don’t have to worry about servers, hosting, updates or anything else. Your company is therefore always assured of a solution that is technologically up-to-date. You simply pay a fixed monthly fee per user, and you do not have to pay an ongoing update subscription. At the same time, the Cloud solution has the huge advantage that Microsoft takes care of the entire security of the product and data. Business Central is essentially an upgrade of the retired NAV with the same features but with a different user interface. You can therefore consider Business Central as a rebranding of NAV. The previously called customizations are now located as Apps which are isolated from the standard product so they are not affected by continuous updates from Microsoft.

Business Central is offered as a Cloud solution (SaaS) that secures your data and ensures that your Business Central is automatically updated. The vast majority of our customers use the Cloud solution. This allows them to completely avoid having to maintain their own NAV server while Microsoft takes care of security. Access to BC is easily done through a browser. And not least, you can access BC on any device from anywhere.

Business Central is continuously maintained and updated. The program is therefore constantly improving. At the same time, integration with Microsoft 365 is being expanded. These are the reasons Business Central can be considered future-proof. NAV, on the other hand, is not maintained. Therefore, you slowly end up isolating yourself if you stick to your old NAV.
